With grown-up children heading off to University and starting jobs, our clients got in touch with us to help them revive their tired garden. Having seen our work at their neighbours’ place - the ‘Contemporary Garden’, they were impressed with what we’d achieved. The clients wanted to retain a fairly large lawn area for family gatherings but we set about widening the borders and re-planted several of their existing trees - an apple, pear and eucalyptus into the lawn. With a planting scheme to be enjoyed throughout the seasons, the garden looks particularly lovely in autumn, with a show of Aster ‘Monch’, Hylotelephium and Calamagrostis.
